Facebook is launching their new cryptocurrency, Libra. But before Facebook could change the world, we needed to prove there was a need for a global cryptocurrency in the first place.

The idea was to make short documentaries that gave a glimpse of how current systems of money are failing all around the globe. We worked with local filmmakers in Nigeria, India, Indonesia and Mexico to find and film these stories. We then edited them into the series below.
